Nextivity Inc is a global supplier of next-generation mobile signal boosters for indoor and in-vehicle use, and demand for its award-winning product line continues to increase to overcome the inequality of connectivity caused by the pandemic. Since a major mobile network operator decided to discontinue its branded signal booster, demand has been further boosted. Ofcom's data shows that since 2019, the huge shift in home work/mixed work has increased the average monthly data usage per household by 80%. Recent data shows that each connection now uses approximately 4.5 GB per month. Mobile network usage also increased by 42% during the same period. Paradoxically, according to the same report, about 190,000 households have substandard broadband. The report also shows: • Only 66% of the UK population has ultra-high-speed Internet access • More than 1 million homes do not have access to a decent fixed-line broadband connection • Only 27% of UK properties have access to gigabit broadband • Less than five points One of the British households can use all fiber optic broadband in certain areas of the UK, and reliable 4G coverage is also problematic. Moreover, although this service transmits more than 90% of the country's network data, 9% of the country is still considered "4G'not-spot". In rural areas, this number is much higher. Not only that, it is estimated that only 46% of rural houses have 4G data coverage of all operators, compared with 86% in urban areas. Mobile connectivity challenges are particularly problematic in counties such as Somerset and Devon. In fact, 4G and broadband coverage here are so intermittent that local authorities have launched a government-supported mobile phone enhancement voucher program to improve the condition of commercial and residential properties. The program is funded by the Southwest Local Business Partnership Center (HotSWLEP) and funded through the Devon and Somerset (CDX) program, up to a maximum of 1.2 million pounds to pay for Nextivity’s Cel-Fi installation Expense mobile signal booster (available through the list of registered vendors) to improve voice and data connections. "Since the initial launch of CDX, Somerset and Devon County Council have improved the broadband conditions of more than 300,000 properties. We expect to provide thousands of mobile signal boosters in the coming months to improve 4G coverage. "Frequency Telecom CEO Gareth Limpeny said, an authorized distributor of Cel-Fi mobile signal boosters. "The device will provide seamless access to voice and data services at an affordable price and will have a profound impact on people's lives." "Mobile signal boosters are ideal for overcoming the connectivity challenges in rural areas where blind spots are common," Nextivity Said Colin Abrey, vice president of channel sales for EMEA. "Traditional broadband equipment can take months to deploy due to street-level fiber optic cabling requirements. The difference is that Cel-Fi equipment can be up and running in just a few days." Nextivity's Cel-Fi mobile signal booster is easy to pass. The installed solutions alleviate the mobile coverage challenges of private residences, public and commercial buildings, and different vehicle types. The product series is based on the world-class Intelliboost chipset. This built-in intelligence enables the system's mobile signal enhancement unit to reliably enhance 3G and 4G signals in all mid-rise commercial and residential buildings. Nextivity's Cel-Fi is also the only mobile repeater system that fully meets Ofcom's specifications. It does not interfere with other wireless devices and provides unconditional network security guarantees, making it legal to use on all current mobile networks. The Cel-Fi of Nextivity's signal booster is also ready for the future to support 5G.
