Hytera radio is the only DMR (digital mobile radio) terminal with full-duplex function in the world: this function was only available using TETRA technology in the past."
The full-duplex function can communicate in both directions at the same time, sending on the first time slot and receiving on the second time slot.

The new Hytera MD785i DMR car walkie-talkie complements the PD985 portable walkie-talkie with optional SFR function. Its design allows very fast TX and RX switching times, and can operate as a true repeater, but on a single real-time frequency run!
This applies not only to voice, but also to messaging, GPS location, telemetry, etc.
In the most difficult rescue scenarios, these functions can have a significant impact on the lives of rescued citizens and rescuers.
