Hytera is one of the most famous radio system manufacturers in the world: it provides mobile radio stations and TETRA, DMR and LTE two-way radios for rescuers around the world, as well as multi-mode versions.

One of the most important variants that stand out among the updates that further enhance its performance is the exclusive "FD" version of the famous radio, which has been widely used by the Red Cross, Alpine Rescue Team, and Fire Brigade.

From the simple functions of the user interface that rescuers love to ensuring high-performance material quality when the situation is complex to the impossible limit, Hytera has added other implementations.

"The new products Hytera has launched on the market," said Cristiano Bernard ADVANTEC CEO we met on Reas 2021. "The first and most important thing is the FULL DUPLEX function. This is an innovation that only involved UHF frequency bands last year. This year, it also includes the VHF frequency band, which is the most commonly used frequency band in Italy.

When we talk about Hytera FULL DUPLEX, we are talking about radios with SFR (Single Frequency Repeater) functionality: mobile and portable devices that can act as direct frequency repeaters.

Hytera radio is the only DMR (digital mobile radio) terminal with full-duplex function in the world: this function was only available using TETRA technology in the past."

The full-duplex function can communicate in both directions at the same time, sending on the first time slot and receiving on the second time slot.

The new Hytera MD785i DMR car walkie-talkie complements the PD985 portable walkie-talkie with optional SFR function. Its design allows very fast TX and RX switching times, and can operate as a true repeater, but on a single real-time frequency run!

This applies not only to voice, but also to messaging, GPS location, telemetry, etc.

In the most difficult rescue scenarios, these functions can have a significant impact on the lives of rescued citizens and rescuers.
