3G wireless signal booster extends the coverage of voice and high-speed data packets to areas with weak mobile phone signals
NETGEAR today announced its next-generation mobile smart repeater series, the MSRB2500 series. The MSRB2500 mobile smart repeater is easy to install and can enhance the mobile signal of a home or business in a few seconds. It extends the radio frequency signal coverage of mobile phones to areas with low signal levels. The repeater starts with a window unit that is strategically placed to receive and transmit the highest possible radio frequency signal from the nearest mobile base station. Then, it uses the unlicensed 5GHz spectrum for indoor coverage units. The coverage unit sends and receives radio frequency signals to and from the mobile device.
The latest improvements in this series include multi-carrier HSPA support, simultaneous voice and data enhancement, higher internal antenna sensitivity and power output, optional external antennas and enhanced device management. The repeater also significantly improves the data speed of customers. Window Unit displays the 3G signal strength in the familiar “bar”.
Based on the technical partnership with Nextivity, NETGEAR launched the first generation mobile smart repeater MSRB2100 series in 2010. The new MSRB2500 series builds on the success of the MSRB2100 series, providing extended voice and data coverage, achieving higher data rates, extending the battery life of mobile phones, and providing mobile network operators with a network security tool to reduce customer churn Rate and improve customer satisfaction.
