Lime Microsystems signs Azio Electronics as Greater China distribution partner | Business Wire

TAIPEI, Taiwan & GUILDFORD, England--(BUSINESS WIRE )--Multi-band, multi-standard transceiver chip firm, Lime Microsystems, today announced that it has signed Taiwan based Azio Electronics as its strategic distribution partner for the Greater China region.

The deal, which is effective immediately, will give Lime’s customers in mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong a greater level of support and access to Lime’s complete portfolio of multi-band, multi-standard transceiver based products.

Lime’s LMS6002D is a fully integrated multi-band, multi-standard single-chip RF transceiver for 3GPP (WCDMA/HSPA and LTE), 3GPP2 (CDMA2000) and WiMAX applications. It can be digitally configured to operate in 16 user-selectable bandwidths up to 28MHz.

The company has also designed a Universal Wireless Communications Toolkit, which enables users to create and test wireless systems of any size on any commonly used wireless communications frequency and wireless standard. In addition to femtocells, enterprise femtocells, picocells, Lime’s customers are using the IC to create repeaters, GNU radio and white space radio applications.
