iNavX can be frustrating at first, because there are too many custom content that are difficult to access. However, stick to it and you will find a good application. It has a series of charting options, including Navionics, C-MAP and NOAA. They collaborated with Waterway Guides, which provided micro-details for terminals and other facilities, although the UK version has not yet been launched.

Although all the information is there, I did not find that querying chart data is as easy as the Navionics application, but this may be just a personal preference. I also found it frustrating to construct and adjust routes. Has access to a very comprehensive manual and a series of excellent YouTube instructional videos-but honestly, I would rather be able to solve it quickly and easily on the app.

It has a GRIB viewer, but to get the tide and current, another application needs to be synchronized to it. It has a nice tool to measure distance or bearing, and it also gives the latitude and longitude of each point. AIS data can be superimposed, but additional fees are required. The anchor drag alert is a good addition. iNavX can also be used as a mobile repeater for your ship’s main navigation system.
